Congratulations on your pregnancy or your plans to become pregnant!
Pregnancy counseling is very important for a healthy baby. This process begins as soon as you come for your first visit. Dr. Fraser will see you each visit, not a nurse practitioner, and he will delivery your baby.
Confirming your pregnancy: You’ve no doubt done home pregnancy tests. When you come in, Dr. Fraser will perform a professional pregnancy test and exam to confirm your pregnancy and establish a due date.
Planning your pregnancy: You will meet with Dr. Fraser in his private consultation room to outline your pregnancy and discuss what to expect. This is an excellent time to ask your questions, and the best time for the baby’s father to join you.
Ultrasounds: During your first ultrasound, you will have a chance to see your baby’s heartbeat and confirm the due date. During your next ultrasound, you will be able to see your baby’s development, and the gender (if you prefer).
Appointments: Initially, your appointments should be about four weeks apart. As your pregnancy progresses, your appointments should be closer together to prepare for your baby’s birth. These appointments are important as Dr. Fraser monitors your health and your baby’s health in your last trimester of pregnancy.
